America’s Hero
America’s Hero was created by artist Dennis Franzen with pride as a tribute to the nation’s firefighters.
"With all the events occurring in our nation, I was inspired to create a
sculpture honoring firefighters while depicting their courage and their
compassion for life.”
America’s hero demonstrates the bravery and self sacrifice of America’s finest.
While his very life is threatened, he saves the life of the child as the flames
consume everything around him. The calm spirit of compassion yet, resolute
expression, emanates from his face as he ascertains the danger that surrounds
him.
Symbolically wrapped in the
American flag to provide protection from engulfing flames, the child expresses
the joy and gratitude that must be felt by all Americans.
The cold cast, bronze metal finished sculpture is resin based and has dimensions
14” x 9” by 6”.
Each sculpture comes with an additional blank brass plaque for custom
engraving. Makes a great gift or Commemoration Award to any fireman. It's also
